Dominic Angelo retired on August 27^th 2003 after 24 years of service at Hartford Compressor in Newington CT.
  Dominic worked as an air test stand operator and has seen this Company go from 150 employees in the early 1980s to just 30 employees now. "We used to be like a family in those days" said Dominic as he reminisced about the way factory life used to be.
  Dominic came from New York where he used to enjoy riding the ferry to Long island and swimming at Rockaway beach.

Work being exported to China is making a great impact on the number of jobs leaving Hartford Compressor.
