District 26 Promotes Safety

Debra Belancik and Paul Dickes

Represenitives from local lodges all around Connecticut and Rhode Island met today with the District 26 Environmental Health and Safety committee to discuss, in detail, what each of of us could do to improve the safety of our working environment.
This first time event was held at the District 26 hall in Kensington and focused on the need to bring all our shops the information they need to interact with management to improve the Safety and Health of all our members.
In attendance representing the District were Debra Belancik and Paul Dickes (EHS) coordinators, Everett Corey (DBR) and Bill Rudis (GLR) for the Eastern Territory.
"Profit is not unhealthy, it is the method the company uses to make a profit that can be unhealthy" said Bill Rudis.  We must all do our part to protect or Brothers and Sisters to ensure them a healthy and happy life.
