Over 100 well wishers converged on Angelio’s Café in New Britain Friday night to attend a party for Donald D’ Amado, who is retiring after 45 Years as an employee at Stanley Works and who was President of Local 1433 for the last 9 years.
  Representatives from the AFL-CIO, Guide Dogs of America, Seniors in Action and the New Britain Labor Council were just a few of the attendants who came to express their appreciation for all the efforts Donald had made over the years for their causes.  I think Everett Cory DBR for District 26 summed it up quite well when he said "Donald never gives up" and Everett would know that well after the fight they shared and won against Stanleys attempt to move to Bermuda.
